2. Scope of Business

Ardeg s.r.o., through the DR. COFFEE Slovakia brand, provides:

sales of coffee machines,
sales of coffee grinders,
sales of accessories,
sales of coffee,
sales of filtration systems and filters (e.g., Brita, Water & More),
servicing and repairs of equipment,
equipment rental,
leasing solutions,
operation of automatic coffee solutions (Operating model).
3. Order and Contract Conclusion

By submitting an order, the customer confirms that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.

A purchase contract is concluded upon confirmation of the order by the seller.

The seller reserves the right to refuse an order or propose an alternative solution in case of unavailability of goods or an obvious pricing error.

4. Prices and Payment Terms

All prices listed on the website include VAT, unless otherwise stated.

Available payment methods:

bank transfer,
card payment,
cash on delivery,
leasing,
individually agreed payment terms.

The seller reserves the right to request an advance payment for selected products or services.

5. Delivery Terms

Goods are delivered within the Slovak Republic and, by agreement, to other European Union countries.

Delivery times are approximate and may vary depending on product availability.

For custom-ordered equipment, the delivery date is set individually.

6. Rental and Leasing

Equipment rental and leasing solutions are governed by individual contracts.

Rental and leasing terms, duration, and termination of the contractual relationship are defined in the respective contract.

7. Coffee Program and Favorable Conditions

Ardeg s.r.o. may provide equipment under favorable conditions or free of charge if an individual coffee subscription contract is concluded.

The provision of equipment is subject to the fulfillment of minimum coffee or other product purchases as per individual agreement.

Detailed conditions are set out in a separate contract concluded with the customer.

8. Operating Model

Under the Operating Model, the equipment remains the property of Ardeg s.r.o. for the entire duration of the contract.

The customer only pays for actually consumed beverages or products according to the terms of the individual contract.

The customer undertakes to purchase coffee, raw materials, and products intended for the operation of the equipment exclusively from Ardeg s.r.o., unless the individual contract stipulates otherwise.

During the contractual relationship, the customer is not authorized to place, operate, or allow the operation of competing automatic coffee equipment within their company without the prior written consent of Ardeg s.r.o.

In the event of contract termination, Ardeg s.r.o. is entitled to collect all equipment that remains its property.

The amount of contractual penalty, compensation, or damages for early termination of the contract is determined individually in the relevant contract concluded between Ardeg s.r.o. and the customer.

9. Retention of Title

The goods remain the property of Ardeg s.r.o. until the purchase price is paid in full.

In the case of rental, leasing, or the Operating Model, the equipment remains the property of Ardeg s.r.o. for the entire duration of the contract.

10. Complaints and Warranty Conditions

Ardeg s.r.o. is responsible for defects in goods to the extent of the applicable legal regulations of the Slovak Republic and these terms and conditions.

The customer is obliged to check the completeness of the goods and any obvious defects upon receipt.

Damage caused during transport must be reported immediately and exclusively in writing via email to service@drcoffee.sk. The customer should, if possible, attach photos of the damaged packaging and damaged goods.

10.1 Home Coffee Machines

Home coffee machines are covered by a warranty:

24 months or a maximum of 15,000 prepared coffees, whichever comes first.

The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects arising from the proper use of the equipment.

10.2 Professional, Commercial, and Gastronomy Equipment

Professional, commercial, and gastronomy equipment comes with a standard warranty:

12 months from the date of commissioning, unless an individual contract or manufacturer's warranty conditions state otherwise.

10.3 Extended Warranty

Ardeg s.r.o. may offer the customer an extended warranty for an additional fee.

The scope, duration, and price of the extended warranty are determined individually for each specific piece of equipment.

10.4 Conditions for Maintaining Warranty

To maintain the validity of the warranty, the customer is obliged to:

use the equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions,
use appropriate water quality,
adhere to prescribed service and maintenance intervals,
regularly descale and clean,
use appropriate spare parts and accessories.

Ardeg s.r.o. recommends performing all service and maintenance work through its own authorized service center or authorized service partners.

If the customer cannot prove proper execution of the prescribed maintenance, the warranty claim may be limited or lost.

10.5 Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover, in particular:

normal wear and tear,
neglected maintenance,
improper use of the equipment,
damage caused by limescale,
damage caused by unsuitable water quality,
damage caused by power outages or fluctuations,
damage caused by force majeure,
consumables and parts subject to natural wear and tear,
damages caused by delayed or unperformed maintenance.

Furthermore, damages caused by interventions, repairs, modifications, or other work performed by unauthorized third parties are excluded from the warranty.

If an unauthorized third party has interfered with the equipment, the warranty claim may be fully or partially forfeited.

10.6 Complaint Process

Complaints can be submitted:

by email to service@drcoffee.sk,
via the service form on the website,
in person at the service center.

When filing a complaint, the customer is obliged to state:

name or company name,
contact details,
order or invoice number,
description of the defect,
photos or video documentation (if available).
10.7 Service and Repairs

Ardeg s.r.o. provides both warranty and post-warranty service.

Service interventions can be performed:

at the service center,
at the customer's location,
through authorized service partners.

The cost of repairs outside of warranty conditions is borne by the customer.

10.8 Replacement Equipment

The provision of replacement equipment during repair is not legally enforceable.

Ardeg s.r.o. may provide replacement equipment based on availability and individual agreement.

10.9 Filtration Systems and Consumables

Filtration systems, filter cartridges, cleaning agents, and other consumables are covered by the warranty conditions of the respective manufacturer.

Consumables are subject to natural wear and tear.

10.10 Spare Parts

Ardeg s.r.o. is authorized to use new or technically equivalent refurbished spare parts for repairs.

11. Withdrawal from the Contract
11.1 Consumer's Right to Withdraw from the Contract

The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the day of receiving the goods, in accordance with the applicable legal regulations of the Slovak Republic.

The deadline for withdrawing from the contract is considered met if the notice of withdrawal is sent before its expiration.

11.2 Method of Exercising Withdrawal from the Contract

The consumer can notify withdrawal from the contract:

by email,
via the withdrawal form,
by written notification sent to the address of Ardeg s.r.o.

Upon receipt of the withdrawal from the contract, Ardeg s.r.o. will send the consumer a confirmation of its receipt.

11.3 Costs of Returning Goods

Costs associated with returning the goods are borne by the customer.

This does not apply if the customer received faulty or incorrect goods.

11.4 Customer's Obligations When Returning Goods

The customer is obliged to return the goods:

complete,
including accessories,
including documentation,
in the original packaging if possible.
11.5 Reduction in Value of Goods

The customer is responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from use beyond what is necessary to ascertain the nature and functioning of the goods.

Ardeg s.r.o. is entitled to proportionally reduce the refunded amount by the value of any wear and tear or damage incurred.

11.6 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply, in particular, to:

goods manufactured according to the customer's specific requirements,
individually configured equipment,
customized goods,
coffee, food, and other perishable products,
opened packages of coffee or food,
opened hygiene and consumable products,
filter cartridges, filters, and other consumables after unpacking or use.
11.7 Entrepreneurs and Customers with Company ID

The right to withdraw from the contract under the provisions on consumer protection does not apply to entrepreneurs, legal entities, or customers purchasing with a company ID.
